This "Iron Slag" is very unique type not just normal slandered regular iron slag and actually "granulated pig iron" which can directly go to a Basic Oxygen Furnace to make steel.
We are offering only FOB prices. As far as the prices I assure you we are selling to many companies already in Asia and our prices are whole sale not retail The retail prices in the market that quality is much much more.
This quality of slag can also be used in the steel making as well. What this came out of was the Steel plate manufacturing plant for the US Navy Vessels. So if you look at it it has all the necessary ingredients for the harden plates which cost more per MT in finished steel. It can go both ways. My customer in India is caster and that's what he will be using but we only guarantee 80 to 90%.
The size is 3" X 3" the largest and most of it has been screened to 60mesh. Currently, the size of the shipment is 30,000MT at a time on the Bulk shipment. The Port can only handle 30,000 Bulk Vessel. The first shipment is 70% to 75% and it is screened to less than 3"x3" but most of it at screened at 60Mesh.
We wanted to let you know that "Apart from the scrap steel, what remains of iron slag ?" is to look and review the SGS report, other than the Iron it also contains Barium, Cobalt, Chromium, Copper, Nickel, Vanadium, and other metals which are very valuable. This iron Slag is worth more then what the price suggests. Again all the Slag came from the Department of Defense contract for the Naval Vessel steel plate production
